Our Vision & Mission

The Dr. B. R. Ambedkar International Mission (AIM) Center is being established in Houston, Texas, to promote the ideology of Dr. Ambedkar and his lifelong struggle for the human rights of over 300 million Dalits, Adivasis, and other marginalized communities in India.
A piece of land has been acquired at Clay Road in Houston, with fundraising and construction planning currently underway. This Center will be one of the first of its kind in North America to house Dr. Ambedkar's writings and actively promote his philosophy of social justice and equality for all.
Our Mission and Activities
The Dr. B. R. Ambedkar International Mission (AIM) Center is planned in Houston, Texas, to promote Dr. Ambedkar's ideology and his struggle for the human rights of 300 million Dalits, Untouchables, and tribals of India.
Events and Programs
To achieve its goal, the center will primarily organize a variety of events:
- Lectures
- Seminars & Symposiums
- Community Get-Togethers
Library and Research
The AIM Center will create a comprehensive library to house all the writings and speeches of Dr. Ambedkar, as well as published literature on human rights struggles in India and from other parts of the world, including the United States of America. Furthermore, a "Dr. Ambedkar Research Center" will be established to promote dedicated research on his life, struggle, philosophy, and mission.
A Welcoming Social Center
The AIM Center in Houston will function strictly as a "Social Center." No religious activities or prayers shall be carried out at the center. To support its academic mission, the facility will have 2-5 rooms to accommodate visiting scholars and eminent persons from India or anywhere in the world, with lodging decisions managed by the Executive Committee.
